[Hollywood] Radcliffe says Harry Potter fame drove him to drink

DAILY GOSSIP: July 4, 2011 by Michael Freidson

It was a weekend of celebrations: Lindsay Lohan turned 25, partying in Malibu, while Tom Cruise turned 49, with a surprise party at Miami’s SoHo Beach House, thrown by wife Katie Holmes, reports People. "Katie has been very excited and actually did the RSVPs herself," a source told the website. "She wanted to be sure everything was just right."

You don’t know Andrew Keegan’s name, but if you watched a lot of family-friendly TV in the 90s—including “7th Heaven” (he played Wilson) or “Party of Five” (he was Reed)—you’d recognize his face. Anyway, this weekend, he was tasered by cops, reports TMZ. The site says he was playing music loudly in his car and got mad when the police approached. We’re guessing the line “Don’t you know who I am?” drew blanks.

Caught making out by TMZ: Paris Hilton and “The Hangover” I and II director Todd Phillips. After making two of the biggest comedy hits of all time, is this a step up? Or a step down? Lateral move?

Harry Potter has given up butterbeer. The 21-year-old Daniel Radcliffe tells GQ that he tried drinking and partying like a celebrity and was "enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me." So he stopped. He’s currently on Broadway in the musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
