Angelina Jolie is reportedly ready to add to her family again, this time with an orphaned girl from Haiti, according to the Daily Mirror. The 4-year-old girl is reportedly named Leah and lost her family in the earthquake last year. “Angelina’s lawyers are in the process of getting an authorization so Leah can spend some time with her in America,” a source says. “A lot of observers from groups such as the Red Cross are ensuring that Angelina is treated like anybody else and not fast tracked, which would be viewed insidiously.” Brad Pitt and the Jolie-Pitt children have reportedly yet to meet Leah.
Charlie Sheen is eager to get back to work on his popular sitcom, “Two and a Half Men,” and he might be returning sooner than previously thought. “We are thinking Charlie will be going back to work two weeks from today,” he lawyer told E! News earlier this week. “Charlie is fine health-wise and doing really well. Things are looking good. Everybody’s intentions are to get him back in the swing of things as soon as possible.”
Lindsay Lohan is avoiding more legal trouble for now. Despite reports to the contrary, no felony charges were filed against the actress in connection with the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store, according to Radar Online. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t still coming. “The case is still under review, and [prosecutor] Danette Meyers is still deciding what charges, if any, Lindsay will be facing,” a source says.
Joe Jonas is reportedly ready to settle down with “Twilight” star Ashley Greene, according to Popeater. “Even though Joe has had plenty of high-profile girlfriends in the past few years, he is impressed with Ashley’s joy of life and dedicated work ethic,” a source says of the 21-year-old pop singer. “They are both well-grounded and have a basic understanding of who they are.”
Executives behind “Sex and the City” are reportedly eager to keep the franchise alive, but not necessarily with Sarah Jessica Parker in the lead role or Carrie Bradshaw. “There are no plans to bring [Parker] and the other girls back together in the old format,” a source tells Grazia magazine, explaining that a prequel is in the works. “The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man.” The source claims that “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively is at the top of the list to take over the role.
