Lindsay Lohan has landed her first post-rehab role, starring as a private investigator in the new film “Escaping the Game,” according to Hollyscoop. And while Lohan has been a liability for some productions in the past few years, her new bosses aren’t worried. “We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I’ve discussed it and she’s already agreed to the condition,” producer Nathan Folks says. “She’s doing great and we’re going to prove to the world that she’s back.”
Miley Cyrus is putting a leash on her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, as his media blitz escalates. “When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on 'The View' on Wednesday she went nuts,” a source tells Popeater. "Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen.” Billy Ray has used previous interviews to compare his daughter to Anna Nicole Smith and blame Disney and “Hannah Montana” for destroying his family. “At first Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things by the magazine,” another source says. “But after she found out about his media trip to New York, no more excuses could be made.”
Charlie Sheen was spotted back at work for the first time earlier this week, though he was only on the “Two and a Half Men” set for four hours before returning home, according to X17 Online. Sheen was accompanied by a new blonde girlfriend, but he’s working to keep her identity a secret. When asked by photographers for her name, he politely responded, “None of your f---ing business.”
Rihanna has reportedly been sending Colin Farrell flirtatious text messages ever since the pair met as guests of Britain’s “the Graham Norton Show” around Christmas, according to the Sun. And Farrell isn’t necessarily complaining. “Colin was taken aback by some of the texts,” a source says. “He reckons he might well be in there. They're both single, so why not?”
Just in time for her new album, Britney Spears has reportedly upgraded to some new digs. The singer is renting a 20,000-square-foot estate in Hidden Hills, Calif., for $25,000 a month, according to the Wall Street Journal. The 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom Tudor-style property is reportedly for sale for $18.9 million, should Spears decide to make the move permanent. Neighbors in the tony Hidden Hills neighborhood include Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Melissa Etheridge.
Ashton Kutcher admits that one of his earliest crushes in Hollywood was Jennifer Aniston. “I was 17 years old and she was on my screensaver,” he says, according to Hollyscoop. In fact, Kutcher liked her so much he even bet a friend $1,000 he’d go on at least one date with the “Friends” star. “Five years later I actually met her and I asked Brad Pitt’s permission to ask his wife out on a date,” Kutcher remembers. “He was so cool and said, ‘You go for it’ so I asked her and she turned me down.”
